ONTARIO FEDERATION OF SCHOOL ATHLETIC ASSOCIATIONS (OFSAA) PROVINCIAL COMPETITIONS

Three TanenbaumCHAT Wallenberg Campus skiers qualified to compete in the OFSAA Ski Provincials at Blue Mountain fr om February 21 - February 23.

accompanied by staff advisors Ms. Cheryl Cash and Mr. Gerry Shindo competed successfully against their provincial counterparts in two giant slalom races and two slalom races. Yasher Koach to all three participants!

On Wednesday, March 3rd, 12 students went to the OFSAA Snowboarding
championship at Georgian Peaks in Collingwood with coaches Ms. Patty Johnson and Ms. Laura Hillary and Staff Advisors Mr.  Andrew Morton.

Ms. Marilyn Arkin and Mr. Matanya Mali accompanied twenty-one Grade 10 and two Grade 11 students to the Montreal Model UN J-CYMUN this past week. The students were well behaved, polite and respectful and truly a joy to work with.  There were six committees, each with two runners-up and one best delegate award.
