Community Service
What is the Community Service Programme?
Judaism teaches us that "all of us are responsible for each other". Helping others is part of our commitment to our community, to ourselves and to the values of Torah. It is a way in which we train ourselves to be caring individuals and committed Jews.
To allow our students the opportunity to participate in the needs of our community and to encourage "Acts of Kindness" in our everyday lives, TanenbaumCHAT has expanded the basic Ministry of Education community service requirement for all students in our school
Every student at TanenbaumCHAT is required to volunteer a minimum of 18 hours of community service during the course of the year. This contribution to the welfare of others is part of the educational curriculum of TanenbaumCHAT.
Students will be expected to complete these hours by the end of the school year.
