Tour of Downtown Jewish Toronto given by current TanenbaumCHAT teacher, Rabbi Shaanan Scherer ‘96. Learn about the rich cultural history of Kensington Market and visit two of Toronto's oldest shuls.
Meeting spot: North East corner of Huron and Cecil Streets

On this guided walk led by Shoresh, we will visit multiple places in the forest, stopping along the way to facilitate hands-on activities that weave together local ecology, environmental sustainability, and Jewish teachings/values. This program is experiential and will allow for moments of deep connection between the people, earth, and Jewish traditions.
Meeting spot: Maxwell Street, at the Entrance of the trail going into the park. This is in between Hove Street (South), and Dellbank Road (North)
Cost: $15 per person
