On Wednesday, April 22, TanenbaumCHAT came together to celebrate Israel’s 78th birthday in a truly meaningful way.
The day started off with a powerful school-wide assembly, where students lit seven candles in honour of seven remarkable Israelis whose contributions have helped shape and strengthen Israeli society. The ceremony culminated with some traditional Israeli flag dancing that brought both pride and energy to the moment.
Following the ceremony, we headed outdoors to enjoy the sunshine at our annual Yom Ha’atzmaut Carnival—filled with laughter, spirit, celebration and, of course, food! For more fun photos from the event, scroll down.
