Accessibility
Your source for the latest TanenbaumCHAT news and events.
Thank you for taking the time to learn more about our school. It is our privilege to share with you all the exciting opportunities that are unique to our students’ high school careers. You will discover how we prepare students to excel academically in their post-secondary studies and beyond, while empowering them with the knowledge and skills to strengthen their Jewish identity in a meaningful and relevant way.
You can find more information in our Admissions View Book below.
Throughout the admissions process, we will get to know each other, and we will assess how we can best support your child to ensure their success at TanenbaumCHAT. For more information on applying see the link below.
Write Placement Tests
Placement tests are a required part of the application process. Each future TanenbaumCHAT student will write tests in English, Math, and Hebrew. Students entering the New Stream program are not required to write the Hebrew test. We use the tests to help us determine class placement and abilities.
You can choose between two placement test dates when completing the application: Sunday, November 12, 2023 or Sunday, December 3, 2023.
We must be in receipt of a completed application prior to writing placement tests.
Once your application is reviewed and all necessary documents have been provided, we will get in touch to schedule an interview. The student and at least one parent or guardian must attend. No preparation is required. Interviews take place between October and February.
Offers of Acceptance are sent via email in February. Offers must be signed and returned to the school with the confirmation deposit to secure your child's place. For more information on the Admissions Process, please complete an inquiry form and we will be happy to help!
