As our Alumni Association continues to grow and evolve, we're excited to offer new and meaningful ways for TanenbaumCHAT alumni to connect, engage, and give back. We're launching a series of volunteer initiatives designed to strengthen our community, and we're looking for passionate alumni who want to be part of this exciting journey.

Executive Committee

Are you passionate about giving back to your high school by shaping alumni programming and strengthening the TanenbaumCHAT community? We're assembling a dedicated Alumni Association Executive Committee and we’re looking for leaders from across the decades to get involved. This volunteer committee will serve as the central voice of the alumni body and help guide the future of alumni engagement at TanenbaumCHAT.

What You’ll Do:

• Provide input and feedback on events, fundraising initiatives, and communications that serve our alumni community.
• Participate in the review and selection process for alumni scholarships.
• Help guide the selection process for prestigious alumni awards like the Maimonides Award for Distinguished Alumni, presented at graduation to one alum every year. 
• Join two virtual meetings each year to connect with fellow committee members and school representatives. Meetings will discuss future initiatives and reflect on past events. 
• Help connect students and alums with mentorship opportunities by tapping into your networks.
• Share your pride and help promote school spirit, participation, and philanthropy within your networks.

Who You Are:

• A committed and enthusiastic TanenbaumCHAT alum
• Interested in giving back and helping shape the alumni experience
• Comfortable sharing your voice and ideas in a collaborative group
• Able to attend two meetings per year and contribute your time annually by participating in and promoting programs and initiatives

Whether you're nearby or live across the world, your experience and energy are valuable. We're looking for a diverse mix of alumni across years, backgrounds, and interests.

Class Captains

Are you proud to be part of our school community and want to help keep your class connected? We’re looking for enthusiastic Class Captains for each graduating year to serve as a vital link between your classmates and the school.

What You'll Do:

• Coordinate with your classmates and our team to organize call reunions and events.
• Help track down updated email addresses and contact info for your year. You will also keep us updated re: any milestones or accomplishments from your grade so they can be added to the Chatter and other social media channels.
• Rally your classmates to participate in our Power of Alumni Campaign, helping us reach our goals and strengthen our school for the future.

Who You Are:

• Friendly, organized, and well-connected with your class
• Passionate about keeping your class spirit alive
• Willing to lend a few hours over the year (it’s a low-key commitment with a big impact!)

You don’t need to do it alone—we’re happy to have co-captains for any class. Whether you’re local or live far away, your energy and engagement make a difference.
